Lyng – Chapter 2

Chapter 2.1 – Twin sisters.

3.01 – Close up of Ingri – clearly fatigued by fighting.
3.02 – Ingri swings axe towards something.
3.03 – Astri blocks the swing and starts counter attacking.
3.04 – They are having a practice fight, showing off their combat abilities.
3.05 – Ingri is about to do an overhead swing, when a bright light appears over the river.
3.06 – Their fight is interrupted. A spirit of a man (Vulkin) appears in front of them.
3.07 – Vulkin has a conversation with the sisters.
Vulkin: “Thanks for agreeing to meet up with me here.”
Vulkin: “It was quite impressive watching your battle abilities.”
3.08 ->
Vulkin: “As you might be aware, I am the warden of the spirit realm.”
Vulkin: “And a great danger has appeared, threating our very own existence.”
3.09 ->
Vulkin: “Stallo has-”
Ingri: “Yes, you already made the council aware of Stallo.”
3.10 ->
Vulkin: “Well, his army is growing. Our spies have told us he is planning to do several attacks on the mortal realm.”
Vulkin: “It’s said that his first target will be the city of Lyng, where you reside.”
3.11 ->
Ingri: “Yes, we know this. That’s why we are preparing for war.”
Vulkin: “The council of the spirit realm has come up with a plan.”
3.12 ->
Vulkin: “We have acquired this object created by the master constructors of Kappla.”
Vulkin: “It has the ability to block the connection between the three realms.”
3.13 ->
Astri: “Sounds interesting.”
Vulkin: “They call it the Crown Gem.”
3.14 – Vulkin hands the gem over to the sisters.
3.15 – A shiny gem, with yellow/orange tones shifting through it.
3.16 ->
Vulkin: “Our plan is to banish Stallo to the mortal realm.”
Astri: “That’s crazy!”
Ingri: “You want to trap the enemy in our realm?”
3.17 ->
Vulkin: “Don’t worry, it’s all part of the plan.”
Vulkin: “At the moment he is banished, this gem will activate and block the connection to his realm. He will be far too weak to even harm humans.”
3.18 ->
Vulkin: “Now he does have some forces and alliances hidden away in this realm.”
Vulkin: “He might be able to do small scale attacks. I would like you to keep preparing for war.”
3.19 ->
Vulkin: “You are the strongest fighters I could find in this land.”
Vulkin. “I know you will be able to keep the gem safe.”
3.20 – Vulkin then steps into the portal
3.21 – Ingri & Astri looks at the gem
Ingri: “The crown gem.”
Astri: “We have to report back to the council and they will decide how we act going forward.”
3.22 – They start walking back to the city.
3.23 – They walk past the market, buzzing with people.
3.24 – They walk past the church, with people listening to the priest preaching.
3.25 – They arrive at the council building.
3.26 – They enter the building and are met with Halstein.
Halstein: “What did he have to say?”
Ingri: “Where is Hak?”
3.27 ->
Halstein: “In the council room waiting for you.”
3.28 – Ingri, Astri and Halstein enter the council room.
3.29 – Hak and Viggo are already seated.
Hak: “What’s the news?”
Ingri: “They have a plan.”
3.30 – Ingri places the crown gem in the middle of the table.
-Timelapse moment-
3.31 – Shows the metalsmiths creating weapons.
Ingri: “We need more weapons…”
3.32 – Gives weapons out to new recruits.
Ingri: “We need to train new forces…”
3.33 – Shows the builders fortifying the gates around the city.
Ingri: “Fortify the city…”
3.34 – Shows people gathering crop (farm)
Ingri: “We need resources for an incoming war between the realms…”
3.35 – Shows the construction of a dam over the river.
Ingri: “Most importantly…
3.36 – Shows the crown gem inside a vault inside the dam.
Ingri: “We need to protect the crown gem.”
3.37 – Months later. It’s winter now.
3.38 – They are having a feast after a great hunt.
3.39 – Conversation between Ingri & Astri.
Astri: “And you doubted that I could do it.”
Ingri: “No, I said it was unwise to do it.”
3.40 ->
Astri: “You’re just jealous of my skills.”
Astri: “I might even be better than you.”
3.41 ->
Ingri: “There is only one way to prove that sister.”
3.42 – Both smiling as they stand up from the table.
3.43 – Loud explosions are heard outside.
Someone screams: “We are under attack!”
3.44 – Ingri & Astri runs outside.
Astri: “He is here.”
3.45 – Astri points towards the dam.
3.46 – Stallo stands on-top of the dam, surrounded by demons jumping towards the ground.
3.47 – Ingri & Astri starts slicing through demons as they approach.
3.48 – Overview zerg of demons running through the street.
Ingri: “We have to protect the gem!”
